Hello, my name is Juliet and I am a Clinical trainee at Journeys Toward Healing Counseling Center and a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. In 2022 I earned a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University, Minneapolis. In 2000 I earned a Master of Science degree in Women’s Studies from Minnesota State
University, Mankato. In 1993, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.
Over the past 20 years, I have worked with complex issues including trauma; concepts of self-worth and body image; domestic violence; parenting struggles; life transitions; grief and loss; anxiety; and depression. I consider each individual and family as unique and utilize a strengths and wellness (mind-body-nature) lens, to help support them. I take pride in being down-to-earth and am passionate about helping clients work toward the goals they have set for themselves. There are several adult populations I work with, including: young adults dealing with life transitions; those who have experienced trauma; and men and women seeking support with “adulting,” workplace challenges, adult child-parent relationships, and other family dynamics.
I love visiting and spending time with my four adult children and am looking forward to exploring hobbies and interests including yoga, swimming, dancing, painting, drawing, reading and traveling.
